San Bernard River RV Park sits right on the San Bernard in Brazoria County, with its own
private fishing pier and boat dock, so you can walk from your site to the water with a rod and a
cooler. If you're bringing your own boat, the public boat launch on FM 2611 is about half a mile away.
What anglers fish for here
This stretch of the San Bernard is tidal — river water mixing with the Gulf's. Anglers on the lower
river commonly target redfish, speckled trout, flounder, and black drum, and catfish are a steady
option too. What's biting changes with the season, the tide, and recent rain.
Want surf or jetty fishing? Bryan Beach is about 20 minutes away, Quintana Beach County Park — with its
lighted fishing pier and jetty — about 25, and Surfside Beach about 30. Sea Center Texas in Lake Jackson,
about 15 minutes away, has free admission, a redfish hatchery, and a youth fishing pond.

The fishing pier and boat dock are for park guests only. Book a site and it is yours to use for your whole stay.
Do I need a fishing license? +
Texas requires a fishing license for anglers 17 and older, with the right endorsement for fresh or salt water. Check Texas Parks & Wildlife for current licenses, bag limits, and size limits.
What does an RV site cost? +
RV sites are $45 a night or $250 a week with electric included, or $450 a month plus metered electric.
